I know in americas army if you have a FR of 1.5 or over you are very respectible. What about in this game?
Anybody who takes away more tickets than they give away is okay in my books.
dunno, mine is 1.25 and im proud of it. but everyone has good and bad rounds, I sometimes score 20 kills 3 deaths or so , and 1 round later I suck...
Mine is below 1, but there are many contributing factors. I also am alot better at team play than actual combat.
I seriously don't care what my rates are. I play this game for my own enjoyment .
it depends on whether its due to alot of time in vehicles or whether they are good on foot. e.g. my mate has a k/d of 2.5 and 4.00 with the sniper rifle, i think that is fairly respectable
I am now at 1.65 going up. And I remember the time when I had 2200 deaths for 2000 kills. Now I'm 12400 for 7500. So since I got my FR of 1 I did 10000 kills for 5000 deaths, so a FR of 2. I can say I'm pretty proud. Just saying...
The K/D on invididual weapons is a little misleading. The "Deaths" listed, I think, are how many times you've died holding that weapon. I only guess this because I know for a fact I've never been Shock Paddled to death... and I have 14 deaths listed next to shock paddles. I don't play medic very often at all... and 14 deaths while trying to revive people sounds about right.
A lot of snipers run around with their pistols out, and when they get caught in close quarters against someone they die holding their pistol which counts against their pistol KDR, not their rifle KDR.

g3157 is righ about that... ive seen peopel with like fr of 15 but all they do is fly jets...
Ratio of 1.81 here... frags are the easiste thing to pwn with in any FPS... I've learned my fragging tactics back in 98 when I started MP FPS'ing and it's been improving/getting tweaked ever since.

Everything that's > 1 is good for your team, my personal target is 2, I'm at 1.9, going infantry alot.
My infantry k/d ratio is around the 1.6-1.7 and my total is 1.9, but the more i play, the higher it gets, especially in Armor/Heli.
it depends really. different peoples play style lead to different K/D ratios. anyone who is a balanced player with average-ish time in each kit, vehicle etc who has a K/D above 1.5 is good in my books. its very easy to increase your kill to death just by playing differently. above 1 means your getting pretty decent in my eyes, providing you dont whore etc...

When looking at somebodys stats and he has 30k kills and 90% with tank/heli/aviator and kdr of 5 and someone else plays infantry only and has 1.2, than who 's better? I respect the infantry guy more.
Me? I would have never reached 1.0x without playing commander and the claymoring I sometimes do... So, yes I suck...
