Okay I need more depth about the memory tester from microsoft.  B/c it seems thats the last and final hope I got to get this thing working again.  When it prompts me to either a)insert a floppy or b)cd-rom.  Well since I have no floppy drive I must go with plan b.  But see unlike a floppy where you can save it plan b needs you to burn it to the disk.  but what do i burn the file i create when i save a image thingy or the program?  Ugh please help dont give up on me just yet.  And for that one guy king who said to switch my ram i got two problems. one i have no idea if i have two 512's or just 1 gig stick.  two I dont know how to find or switch the ram.  This is very upsetting b/c I got bf2 to work before I decided to reformmat WHY THE HELL WOULD THAT EFFECT BF2.  It's not like I changed hardware or anything.  Please help.

Alright I guess my first post didn't get the message through.  I'm getting really upset now b/c I really can't play at all.  Here is what I've done so far again and again and again..

Reformated and Cleanedsweeped my whole computer...twice..

Reinstalled Bf2 5 times....everything is fine games and all without the patch..

Install any patch incremental or full and hope it will install successful...and so far I get 50/50 sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't..My only problem is whenever it does get done installing successfuly when I try  or joining a singleplayer or a multiplayer it crashes at 47 or 50%.  If anyone knows how to get this working I would GREATLY appreciate it.  Oh and yes it worked before with the 1.3 patch until my dumbass self decided to cleansweep my computer now I can't even get Bf2 to work.  So yes if anyone is wondering yes it does worked before just now it wont..One more thing I've tried these methods

1)deleting the bf2 folder in My Documents
2)Removing Movies
3)Inputing installation key in the bf2_code.exe in the support folder of mods located in the bf2 folder.  Then patching.
4)updating software for video and sound hardware.

Tnx for the help in advance.

Fixes here, fixes there, and nothing really fixes anything....

My BF2 is giving me new crap every day!

Yesterday I almost couldn't join a server,so many CTDs...but the ingame freezes have disappeared.
Today I played about an hour without problems, then after trying again a few hours later I get memory errors all the time, unable to load any map, singleplayer nor multiplayer....but strangely - after starting up SF once and playing a map in singleplayer there - no more memory errors in normal BF2.

There are no real fixes for anything,I tried about 95% of the fixes posted here and nothing really helps, sometimes it crashes all the time, sometimes it miraculously runs fine for hours.

Time for an official patch, preferably ASAP....
