When appyling 4 Commander, Who gets the Job?

Sup All, 'bout all this 1st Sgt. / Master Sgt. issue, I hav the following question:

If a Master Sgt. with 43, 000 GP applies 4 Commander, and also a 1st Sgt. with 22, 000 GP does, Who gets the Job?

I'm not positive, but I would thing the 1st Sarge would. He's technically - according to the game anyway - the higher rank.

they guy with the higher rank gets it, if two people with same rank apply i think it then gets counted back to who has the most points from the previous round.

1st Sgt. would, his rank is higher. The GP's don't matter unless they have the same rank.
To The_heart_attack: last round doesn't matter I think, because ones I applied (on my old accont and before the patch) and me and the other guy were (like most people) both Lance Corporals. In the round before I had more points then he but he got to be commander but I didn't, so GP's must be the key to decision when players are in the same rank.

higher rank does not allways count sometimes a lance corporal beats me to it and i am 1st sgt.
also it shows a message that a player with a higher rank got the position of commander

That must be some sort of bug or somthing because, like the message says a player with a higer rank has filled the commander positon

Its all about rank If ur a Fst SGT like I am then it would be you. But if there is a higher rank then them. Now If lets say u and some other Fst Sgt. applies then it is based off of global points.
