I was on Sharqi as US and the MEC had taken the TV station. There was a guy on top of the roof moving around and I hit him in the chest with rifle (tried for a headshot but at that disttance and him moving, it just didn't happen and hit him somewhere other) and as soon as he was hit he dropped prone. Obviously I couldn't hit him again but I figured I'd get the assist. Well, commander comes along and drops humvee on him and I get the kill from a humvee instead of an assist or a sniper rifle kill.... Would that be a road kill or like shooting out of the humvee turret type kill, because it certainly wasn't my rifle (though I wish it were).
I think its considered a road kill....but im not sure. Thats pretty wierd either way lol
the last thing thats hits something, gets the kill, so you got it indirectly, because the humvee kill message would be like: just died
I guess it works the same way as shooting someone with the rifle, then having them jump off somewhere high, hitting the ground and you getting the kill.
Yeah, it showed as Spartakis [HMMVW] blah blah blah (dont remember name) but I had just shot him with a sniper rifle.... ah well, funny either way!
lol since u were the last person to hit him w/ a weapon... i guess its a road kill since it says HMMVW that must be a jolly good time
