Bf2 Freeze up during game play or loading

Just built new system, i have been running bf2 just fine for a couple of days, and then today i get freezes and then i have to restart my computer

During the time when it freezes it repeats the same sound when it froze, after it has repeated it once it goes in to a terrible static phase...... then it repeats

plz help

no, it does not beep. The cycle went on for as long as 5 min....and it just contiuned, then i just restarted my comp

i just tried messing with the AGP aperture and it seems to be working....... i will post if it freezes again
