hey i just want to get your opinion on what you think if bf2 had some sort of pistol unlock in it so you can get better pistols. And i was thinking of unlocking them as you get your pistiol combat badges or something similar. And i also would like to get your opinion on what pistol unlocks (if for some magical reason it happens) you should get. I myself was thinking of high powered pistols (Desert Eagle's, S&W model 29, M1911A1) it would be cool becuase although they all pack much more stopping pwer than the pussy 92FS they have significantly less ammo and longer reloading times (only for the model 29) and i was thinking if you guys would approve pistol unlocks and if so, what guns would you like so see added and how you would unlock them.
I dont think EA will add any pistols.But if they will,it wouldnt be DEagle(.50 caliber is same to M95).I would say it would be balanced to add Stechkin auto pistol.

although one can never have enough guns, i guess the differences between them just wouldn´t be big enough to notice if you don´t get such uberguns as the DE or a .356 Magnum. (which would be both unrealistic and too CS for my taste).

Pistol unlocks would be great... but it's not going to happen.
It's pointless unlocking a new pistol when you get a pistol combat badge...Why? Cos it'll just encourage noobs to spend more time on illegal Pistol and Knife servers and just detracts from the whole idea of skill.Mongoose wrote:

The .50 AE uses a rebated cartridge head of 0.514 inch - the same dimension as the .44 Magnum rim.
