I have used these drivers with a couple older 6800GT and my 7800GTX cards. I was posting this to see if anyone would like to test these with Battlefield 2 and FPS. I have seen a huge performance increase with the 6800GT card and was wondering if anyone else could see a difference also. My friend also has seen a performance increase with this 6600GT's. I was quite supprised since I was unable to play 64 man servers without some sort of video lag with the 6800GT now my friend can actually play without these problems. He actually says he see's faster load times also, I have not confirmed this though. Would anyone else try that has had problems in the past? Please post... thanks!

The drivers I have tested are:

BETA Drivers—
91.31
Windows XP / 2000 32-bit
Release Date: June 5, 2006
BETA driver

I haven't had any issues as of yet. I have not done any benchmarks yet with this just played BF2 so far. I will try and look at the NVidia site and see what bugs have been submitted.

Just installed it on my x64 system.. didn't even play BF2 with it, as it took me 3 minutes to startup as opposed to my usual 30 seconds. Immediate uninstall! Didn't experience this issue with the latest final release x64 drivers.

Yes once again these are BETA drivers meaning for TESTING... You just need to uninstall them and reinstall... You can also use driver cleaner if you want to make sure they are totally clean from your system. To bad on the x64 I haven't tried those yet... Still need to install 64 just lazy.

What's the difference between these and the 91.28's?

just have ur older drivers ready on desktop, when ur new ones fuck up just install ur old ones and they would uninstall the new ones.

to viper: the 91.28's have implented overclocking features and different GUI

I'm also using the 91.31beta but so far I haven't seen an increase in my fps.  I'm using a 6600GT.
fps: 35-50 before and after 91.31.  Still the same.  Maybe I should revert back to the 84.21(official one)

These are official. All nVidia drivers are official pretty much. It's just some are still beta. These however aren't really beta as they are WHQL certified (i.e. they paid MS to verify them to work well).

i installed em yesterday & they caused probs for me.started off by running 3dmark05 which scored about 200 more than the 84.21's ive been using which are tweaked for better performance in f.e.a.r.
went & played bf2 for an hr or so & never noticed any difference to be honest,well...not until i quit out the game anyway cause desktop icons wouldnt respond so had to hard boot.later i went to pay again for a bit, quit out same desktop prob.hardbooted then later went & played nfs most wanted & same desktop prob after i'd finshed.only thing i'd changed on my system was gfx drivers so first fix i tried was reverting back to 84.21's & that solved my desktop crash after gaming.
i'm always trying new beta & tweaked nvid drivers & these are FOR ME pretty bug'd & my system just has issues using them.

my system
bfg 6600gt oc agp
amd 4000+
msi nforce3 ultra mobo
