umm people arent you forgetting that that already happens?you cant fire i TV missile without a gunner becuase there ISINT ANYONE THERE becuase they swap to gunner then use it lol i think what you meant was you need 2 people in the chopper before the stuff starts to work

Well what do you have to do when there is not even a gunner around. Solo heli-ing is not so bad imho, as long as you don't kill your gunner to fly solo.
Having a gunner is nice though. Although lately I own infantry while piloting (if I have no gunner ofcourse), after a while you get how the pilote missiles work and where to aim.
And I use mostly the pilot missiles against tanks. I often have serious lag on my tv missiles. But from time to time I use a tv missile when solo piloting.
But I don't know why you guys complain. Killing a solo pilot is easier than killing a pilot and his gunner.
Although it is a nice suggestion from Solar Fire, I don't think it is necessar. Just hop in a plane, AA gun, or an attack chopper WITH a gunner and you can own the guy in no time.

when u notice ur gunner is awful try to figure if he knows how the TV missle work? if he doesent let him fly if that suxs to il just try something else, take a jet or something

i like soloflying....when the your whole team is full of lowranked noobs that cant even kill infantery with the MEC GRENADE LAUNCHING GUN on the helo... then i like flyin solo..or "how do i use the tv-missile?" damn dont get in the helo then and get some practice offline
if you can, you can also use the gun for a few seconds on infantry, works best with the mec chopper
Works on all guns, just have to know how

I can't see flying solo when the knuckelheads are tking each other for a seat in the chopper. Or jets (which I recently found out that the bomber has 2 seats, ok,ok, did not mess with the jets much).

This annoys me how pilots say they dont have good gunners reason why the gunners arent good sometimes blame the pilots who fly them. I have been in the gunning seat many of times with a pilot and thought holy crap i may as well just watch with how this idiots flying. I am a good pilot and usually wont take off without a gunner i have tought n00bs how to aim and stuff and got a good score at the end of the round.

I agree. The other thing is AA missles should stay locked on when people switch seats. That would kill a lot of those solo idiots a lot faster. I prefer to fly with a clan mate as we can communicate better and help our teammates on the ground as well with both tv missles, pilot's missles and the gun. I've flown with one descent pilot who wasn't a clanmate in the attack chopper. The rest have either been jerks who fly to the edge of the map or crash 30 seconds after take off.Delphy wrote:

You're spinning around in the air, you can't dodge or use flares.
I suck at flying chopppers so I generally don't fly unless it's to steal a chopper to pick up a good pilot or to save our chopper from being stolen.
