I had this discussion with a friend of mine, and I have been searching for the answer for a while. No threads seem to cover it (except a few threads about specific medals), and the wiki/UBAR doesn't cover this ground either.
I know for a fact that these medals can be awarded more than once:
Gold Star
Silver Star
Bronze Star
Good Conduct
Combat Action
But what of the others ? Does anyone know for sure ? Is there any way to find out (other than attempting to reach the qualifications twice, which I'm NOT going to do for most of them at least)
Rumors says that Meritoriuos Service and Medal of Valor can ALSO be awarded more than once, but I haven't found anyone who has them twice. MY friend seems to think that the Purple heart can be awarded more than once, but threads seem to indicate that it will only show up once. I wouldn't know as I haven't gotten one yet.
