ok i have had this mobo since about november when i built a new system. no where on the box does ti say it supports AMD X2 processors but it does support AMD64 and AMD64 FX series chips. However, i have read reviews and Newegg says that it supports X2. Does anyone have this board with an X2 processor?? i want to know if its possible cause i plan to get a new processor when conroe comes out and AMD slashes prices and i want dual core.

Current Spec's.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

as others said, you will need to update the BIOS and the RAM should be fine, unless you plan on overclocking... if you do I recommend the G.skill PC4000 HZ sticks from newegg -- awesome overclockers.
