Internet history cleared?

Eg. i type forums.bf2s.com

Theres suppose to be whole lot of forums.bf2s.com/showthread.blabla
But today its gone and all my forum passwords are somehow cleared and i had to relogin again. It has happened a month or 2 back though. Is it because i surf the net too much?

your cookies and temporary internet files were probably deleted. Some browsers have an automatic cleanup for those that you can set for different time periods, then again there are also programs that do this for you as well.

for example i have set firefox to delete everything (except cookies) after 3 Days

Your must have cleared your cookie stash.

Erm, Internet explorer. My history still remains but the forums.bf2s.com/forums blabla were gone and i do disk cleanups regularly:P

answered yourself ... disk cleanup is the culprit

What? i thougth disk cleanup cleans up space on my HDD. I have been doing this everytime.

Same thing happened to me. I forgot to save my PIDs too so I had to rebuild my whole BF2s leaderboard from scratch again. Now I have them saved as a .txt file so I can run disk cleanups again.

I dont use the history, its a hassle and viruses hid in the folder the history is stored in.
