I want to know what my power supply is but I can't find a label on the damn thing and the cpuid stuff will tell me everything BUT the power supply wattage.  So does anyone know of such a file?

My computer doesn't seem to have either of those functions.

those were jokes.

a voltmeter and multimeter tell you what your power supply is putting out, lol.

try searching online for your power supply model.  there are not any programs that tell you that information.

None of them would tell me the model of PSU either, this sucks.  I need to know because I need to see if I can get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6814102680

None of the programs I tried.  Yes, this is an HP Pavilion 750n.  Is that a good graphics card for AGP by the way in your opinion(s)?

Your HP Pavilion 750n has a PSU of 200 watt (max 250 watt). (I'm great with google).
If you want the vidcard you pointed out you need a minimum of 350 watt, but I advice 400 watt.
So with you vidcard buy a new PSU.

But since your processor is probalby a p4- 1600 I would save the money and save up $1500 for a new computer.
(unless you have upgraded the computer to better specs, but knowing HP computers this would be a heck of a job, due to case incompatibilities.

I already upgraded to a Sapphire ATi Radeon 9600 256MB overclocked, and just recently went from that POS 1.6 P4 to a 2.2 P4.

@ ResDog, he will not be able to upgrade the power supply along with the graphics card because the motherboard uses a properietary ATX connector that would probably fry the psu/mobo if one attached a non-HP power supply (that is assuming that this model is like the rest with the proprietary-ness)

the sticker should be on the side of it on the inside of the case.

There is no software that can access it.

dang man, tough luck.  I would have to agree with resdog in saying that you should save up for a new computer.
