Now I wonder if the major retailers are going to hold to Intels Price Line.

IIRC they dont have to if they dont want to.

But if they really are going to be that cheap, I doubt many will be around for too long.

Ahh but my Core Duo lappy will do me for now.

I've heard that companies like Dell, and HP have first dibs on the conroes out there. Analysts seem to be guessing that there will be a big shortage, and this will probably mean higher prices than the suggested price.

you are right about the shortage, and apparently its gonna be the same thing with gfx cards because everyone is going to buy a new pc next winter (because of vista, dx10, Intel core 2 duo).
