My in game name has changed.
I have done a search for help with this but haven't found anything relevent so I thought I'd post for some advice.
Up to yesterday my name as it appeared on the in game score board was 'bb_sparrow', which is what my ID has been since I started BF2, bb is the moniker for my squad (which is really why I need this help), there are 7 of us that play together as a bb_squad. Yesterday for no reason I can fathom my name changed to 'qqqqqqq bb_sparrow', and i'd like it back as it was. When i'm logging into the game there are no extra characters in the new prefix box, also there is only one account on my game and this reads correctly bb_sparrow, however when i'm logged in the game the name that appears within the main screen says that logged on as 'qqqqqqq bb_sparrow'!!!!
I can only guess that as I use 'q' as my push to talk button on TSpeak some how when loading the game its entered these 'qqqqqqqqq' next to my name but how & why do this, its a bug I guess but is it fixable?
I have cancelled my account and reloaded it within the game but appart from changing all my default keys back this made no difference, I have also thought about restore the system (XP function), but I don't really have any good restore dates.
