Basic Explosive Ordinance Badge

Well have noted that the minimum kills is now 5 for C4, mines and claymore. So as this is my last basic badge to obtain, I went on Midnight Sun last night and killed 8+ using mines. NO badge.

Therefore can someone confirm if it is 5 or 13 kills for the basic explosive badge. Thanks.

You need to kill by using all three C4, AT mine, and claymore. For an example you can kill 3 ppl with the C4 and then kill one person with the AT Mine and one person with a claymore. You have to use all of them in order to get the badge

I got all mine using AT Mines...I'm not sure you need to use all of them...just get the IAR no. of kills using any...

No you dont... i made a new account and played warlord and got mine with Clays at the TV station. I think the problem that you have here is that your stats haven't updated yet.. Check within a few hours and it will probably show up.. If it doesn't then just try again, 5 kills isn't that hard.

yaa, try Warlord, go to the palace and toss claymores around (or Karkand at the Hotel if you don't have SF)

I have gotten 50+ kills on both maps. Make sure you pick one with 300 tickets.

My advice is to use the enviornment to your advantage. If you see crates lay a Claymore around the side of them so they don't see it until it's too late; people won't run towards something they see. The best map without a doubt is Warlord in the Special Forces expansion. Be SAS and go cap the 3rd Floor of the Palace at the begining of the round, but lay some Claymores around some corners so if someone decides to run in and try to save the cap, Boom! If you're lucky you'll get some nice Palace battles going on in which you can get 10-12 kills per battle. One side will eventually take the other over, but don't fret. The other side will always come back and take a flag back. This is how I got my Veteran and Expert.

Yes, I wasn't in the Palace, but soon my young Padawan you will learn the ways of the Clays and you too will truely be an Explosives Expert.

this is the one thing that bugs me about not downloading Patch 1.3... the Basic Explosive Ordinace badge is so fucking hard to get!!

i mean... i'm not exactly skilled with C4/Clays/or AT mines... so it's freakin impossible for me!!

i even tried a 16 player server with 300 tickets and i still couldn't get it (Kubra Dam, putting AT mines at the USMC choke point by their uncap)

i got 11 kills.... but fuck it!!! i needed 13....
