I realised that the antenna of this wireless router can be bent backwards if used only a slight force. However, as it is placed near my switches, i hit it already twice in a day. My hand hits the antenna and the router lifts up for 1 cm and drops back on my wooden table. My main concern is, will the dropping of 1cm affect the router? I am using wired and would be using wireless in the future.

I would just be very carefull with it. I had the same router and had to RMA it twice before moving on to D-Links DGL-4300. Make sure to keep your receipt in case you run into probs and need to return it like I had to. Its not a  good idea to drop it on a hard surface. Consider putting a foam pad  underneath it to help absorb the shock from dropping. Nice sig btw

It just lifts up and drops lightly on the wooden surface though, I dont like purposely drop it at 1m and hope that it will be fine:P But dropping twice aint that bad right?

wouldnt worry about this - the linksys routers can be a bit crap, but what you are doing shouldnt affect it. I filled my D-Link router with coffee by accident and it still works!
