My mic and everything work fine. I just have an annoying problem that whenever i join a server or a map loads my mic is muted. I dont know why. I have to crash (minimize) to the desktop and unmute everytime then bring the game back up. Can someone give me a solution. Thanks
update ur VIA drivers if needed. check the board manufactures site.

what kinda motherboard do u have in ur system? if its a brand name(dell,Hp, Alienware) system look for updates to bios, sound and other things on thier website.

well via chip sets are notorious for doing that with usb headsets. Ive heard of dells doing it too.
if all else fails unplug the mic and start the game see if its still muted. if it is turn the game off and run the viop tester/setup prog. if that don't work, unplug the mic, mute the mic in windows then plug it back in and try it.

Ive had that problem to.
To remedy the situation I just restart my Computer.
