I know it's frustrating that the plane is "nerfed"
People always get mad and say "It's WAR!", but it's not, it's a game. If the A-10 dominates, then no one else has fun and the games don't sell. It sorta sucks, but it's reality

What I find amazing about the real A-10, they can only fire the main cannon in short bursts, because the tremendous recoil can and will cause the plane to go backwards and stall even at full throttle.
It just slows it down a tad, the reason it doesn't fire continously is because the gun will melt if fired for 19 continouous seconds. If you fire in bursts its fine.Subliminal_Sub wrote:

Yeah i know the vid was kinda old, but i never seen it before...
It is too bad that they didnt amp up the gun at least a little bit...sounds cool...but in the vid the smoke just poors of the gun and looks badass...that would have been a nice effect....maybe cluster bombs would be cool...but i hear ya about the balance issue.

The engines automatically go to full throttle when you activate the GAU tho so yeah, it's a really powerfull weapon

It definitely is because of the heat not the force of it. You can't shoot any gun like that for long periods of time or the barrel will melt.tahadar wrote:
