so I was playing a serevr, i cant remember the name but i usually have a ping of around 150-200 at the very start that I join a game. Right as I join i get kicked becuase my average ping was too high... If it had waited maybe 10 seconds I would of have like 60 ping...

my ping does that, its goes too 100 then 60 and back and same repeatedly, i dunno y it just does it

My ping drops sometimes and goes back up. i was palying on the AVG anti-virus server a few days ago, and since there was no admin you could have huge pings. there was one guy who had a 365 ping that suddenly dropped to around 65 and everywhere in-between. it was causing major lag for me so i spent the round trying to get him kicked using the kick vote although it didn't work, and he wouldn't leave.
Isnt 60 still a bit to high?
I don't think so considering some monitors can have up to a 40ms relay time and the human brain doesn't notice the delay.
next time your playing BF2, stop downloading Porn..... ping is ICMP request... that is the LOWEST priority datagram. if you have other traffic saturating your internet link, your pings will be higher... unless you use some retarted ISP that dynamically changes the route of the packets in the network randomly for no reason...
i sometimes play games with a 200 ping and they run smoothly.

lmao... my ping goes from 50 to 800 and back down to 50.. this is probably because i have a wireless connection and the mbps go from 54.0 to 1.0 and back up again.. and when it doesnt go back up, i get connection problems and i get booted from the server.. WIRELESS CONNECTIONS SUCK!

i have a wireless linksys connection and 90% of the time my ping fluctuates between 20-80 which seems to be normal by the other pings that i've seen
my ping gets real high on distant servers like around 350 which sucks and it feels like i have constant shellshock.
