my online account wont log in... i was playing earlier then my game crashed so i loaded it back up and now i cant log in it just says logging in then just stays on there for ever wtf can i do??

i dunno about my fire wall but it was working fine before my computer crashed...
I had this problem when I first patched up to 1.3, then things got better and it would take a long time to log into BF2 but it would eventually, now it goes in quickly again (ooh, err, sounds a bit rude).

delete ur old profile from my documents/battlefield2/profiles it will be listed as 0001 or 0002 or 0003. just find it and delete it then setup ur profile again. U will have to redo the controls, sound and video settings.

Useually i find my slef helping people with thier BF2... but in this case i'm stumped

If we are to assume that this happened "suddenly" and you haven't made any changes, then the three most common causes:leggi wrote:

(1) The BF2 account servers are temporarily down in your area ... patience, and it will correct itself.
(2) Your ISP's connections to the BF2 account servers are temporarily degraded or down ... patience, and it will correct itself.
(3) Although very rare, sometimes you will have recently had some spyware installed on your system, or your antivirus software program (not the virus database) has updated, and is now blocking access to the BF2 account servers.
Yes, BF2 files might have been corrupted or your computer system may be having problems, but these are extremely rare events. Most likely, if you try again in 6 hours, you will be able to log in just fine.
I have found the cause of the problem (for my issue).
Apparently my ISP's connection to the BF2 servers is broken.
I am on tiscali (London, UK)
If anyone else is on this ISP they will not be able to play BF2 until the problem is fixed

apparently the problem was caused by the ea account server and should be fixed now!
I hope so...i thought my PC mucked up again when i couldn't connect lol.

i hate tiscali, and how come every thing else which is online works except from BF2
