IT SUCKS, FOR SURE! In fact there's only one thing in the world (BF2) that's even worse, and that's the stupid jerks on my team which constantly tries to capture the hotel instead of all the other bases even though they get mowed down by the cheater(s) time after time after time. If the hotel is occupied there's not much worth doing except taking other bases instead and let the bastards bore them self untill the connection-lost error takes them away.

Agreed. Take the other flags. Hotel is always a blood bath.
for those that don't know yet, PunkBuster takes screenshots of what you see when certain score is reached(not sure how big) at about 256x256 pixel radius of your crosshair, and then is uploaded for evaluation if they see you in the wall you are going to get a hardware ban which is based on serial of your hard drive and MAC addrees I know you can spoof MAC but you can't spoof hard drive address so good luck to those that do it.
Never heard of it, so I just take that as BS, but I really like the idea. Actually it's a great idea, but my fears are that EA just don't care much about cheaters anymore (like ever). Just think about it; would EA benefit from having people play the "old" BF2 when the new BF2142 comes out? They've already got our money from BF2 and having people working on BF2 is quite expensive when the same people instead should help getting BF2142 out in time if you get my point..alpinestar wrote:

PB does not just look at your files. An admin has to look at the pictures, and send them to PB. Also, this option can be turned off on the server. Another think, I do not think they ban you hard drive serial number, I think it is you HEX number (something like you CD Serial number, I think).alpinestar wrote:

I don't remember what thread it's from, but apparently if you take the "Spec-Ops" kit and put C4 DIRECTLY ON THE BARREL of a tank, you can drive the tanks barrel into the wall and injure/blow the glitchers up.

Anyway the probability for that to happen (EA perban someone) is like beeing headshot'ed by a meteor, twice, and survive, all happening while you're sitting on a threeheaded donkey in the middle of the deserts while it's raining camels made of chocolade.
I think the jacklegs that hide in the hotel glitch are a bunch of dateless uber-geeks without lives ... if cheating at a computer game is your way of getting jollies, guess what? YOU'RE A FAWKING LOSER.
