IMO it is not hard to get the 7 knife. I got them on my first try in a round. It was hella fun too! I think it is harder to get the pistol badge. While we're on the subject, which class do you guys recommend for getting the basic pistol with? This is the only badge I need to get my advanced rank.dontfeedthenerd wrote:

It was hard for me to knife 7 in a round. I usually play sniper, so I don't go around stalking people, I only knife other snipers I find...
Yeah pistol is harder than knife. I found it easier to have 18 knife kills than 18 pistol kills IAR. Anyway I can think of three tactics:messfeeder wrote:

Sniper: shoot them in body and switch to pistol to finish it off, seems to get pretty well if you know how to handle the sniper
Medic: if you thinking about running in the battlefield unloading your pistol and hoping to kill 1 guy before dying, if it works, you can heal yourself but you will die a lot
support: if you plan on hiding on some roof then you better take support or you will run out of bullets soon and don't expect anyone to give you ammo

Hmm, things I hate...
You place a claymore, your team mates know where it is, when they go near it they get the skull'o'death. So, they decide to hang around it until an enemy comes by detonating it killing themselves in the process and punishing me for a tk... that's annoying.
Or noob snipers...
I create a snipers squad specifically for myself and any sniper who wants to join, so if we want we can coordinate. However, sometimes rather than being intelligent there are the ones who decide to hang around you constantly giving away your position. For example;
You cannot imagine how tempted I was to push this guy over...
You place a claymore, your team mates know where it is, when they go near it they get the skull'o'death. So, they decide to hang around it until an enemy comes by detonating it killing themselves in the process and punishing me for a tk... that's annoying.

Then some asshole filled a chopper full of people and started it above the runway where i get my refills... i was about to get new refills and this guy makes the chopper crash in me to get the jet and i got 4 teamkills... all punish -24 -24! and then i got perma banned for having a "negative score".

You lose -4 for a TK (and sometimes get -2 for the initial team damage, so -6) but you can't lose -8 for one team kill. Also, the fact that they punished makes no difference to the penalty, even if they forgive you still lose -4 or -6. Punishes only go toward you kicked (usually 3) they have nothing to do with your points.
I hate snipers that follow you around to your spots, and then sit in front of you blocking your view. Fine if they want to follow me around, but stay out of my shot please, I have enough to worry about without tking you because I just shot my M95 up your assEvilMonkeySlayer wrote:
