G'Day Big Ed here,
I am nearly at the end of my run with this stupid game, frustration has nearly driven me back to CSS or Doom 2 or something that actually works;
1. I seem to get this annoying "trouble with connection" right near the end of a round when I've actually got a good round going with a heap of points, is this some kind of EA conspiracy against me??? case in point, I was playing wake with 30-1 K/D in the J10 the other day then the dreaded "trouble with connection" arghhhhhhh!
2. Why is this game teamswapping me all the time? EA leave me alone you bastards!! e.g I am having a good round helping my team to win, then "you have been swapped by the server" only to be consecutively killed twenty times by the very team that I helped to be in a strong position, but alas another loss incurred arghhhhhh! (On one occassion the other day I was swapped 6 times in one round!!) arghhhh!!
3. This game seems to be very laggy lately, i dunno it's not me, my connection seems OK, EA is up to something again secretly gathering information on all of us who complain and sending some lag increasing malware to our computers.arghhhh!
4. I try and logon last night and I don't even get that far I get this error "database error please try again" wtf, what the hell is wrong with this illconceived, poorly programmed, ridiculously patched, steaming pile of camel excrement, loosely disguised as software, ffs just get this game to run properly instead of sending out "booster" packs when the original game still has major issues after 2000 patches and nearly a year of release and hindsight.
Why does anyone bother???? This would have to be the most frustrating game in history, the best gameplay and the most bugs in one game.

I feel your pain, but when it all comes together and everything works, it's the best game in the world IMO.

I agree but "when it all comes together" is the hard bit that occurs about 20% of the time.

Agree, I bought Ghost recon today...

Since 1.3 its unplayable, simple as that.
Even if you ignore all the awards that you never receive even if you earned em, It starts to lag and dc you once you're longer than 30 mins on a server.
Should the server hold up that long...
Oh i forgot the rounds were there exist no ranks/unlocks...

often, when one team only have 1 ticket left there always comes up; "Connection problem..." But it does never disconnect.... BTW who is making the patches? Is it "Dice Canada" or "Electronic Arts" or "Dice" (Sweden)?

agree tatally,ive benn playing less and less since 1.31 and IF EA was smart..(lol)...they would realise thast they r loosing customers which of course = loss of money...CMON EA,get ya fking shit together and address the problems properly,im sik of the "great,im only 4 kills away from that expert badge and then connection problems,disconnect"...ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You often get the "connection" thing at the end of the round, thats OK you don't get disconnected, it's the one that comes about 3/4 through that ticks me off usually just as you respawn thats what happens to me anyway :\

That's because you always play as a lonewolf.... be a squadleader or join a squad... if you don't like being in a squad, then you had it coming, lonewolf are always pick first to get switch.

It seem you care enough about the game to post this rant.... but EA/Dice are not responsable for bad ISP provider or poor Servers vendors.

Sure and it is hell on hearth... I mean come on.... I play on servers.... I don't get disconnect.... and from 40 to 60 other players on the same server everyone is there at the end of the round.

And karma -1 as much as you want, the fact is a minority of people may get problems.... and reallity check for you, it's not always the game the create the problems... but it's just easier to come here and cry that the game isn't good, that EA suck...and bla bla bla... Did I hear him say he tried to understand what was going on? Or ask help? No he goes on complaining about being always switch blaming EA for it....when with actually a little searching and reading he would have found out why he gets switch. And if he hates it so much, he should pick server with autobalance turn off ....

As for your comment saying 1.3 s broken.... the same was said about 1.21. 1.2 and on and on and on... how many post here about the patchs never being good enough and yet you all still play the game (yeah...it's a game), for such a crapy game, something must be good about it

the only gripes I have after 1.3

1. I sometimes crash back to my desktop when I click "Join Server"
2. They still haven't made the J10 possible to kill
3. Increased Lag
4. Runway blocking bitches (the only remaining gripe I have from pre 1.2)

I already did take a break bro. I have meet a lot of cool people, but the fun is now gone. I will not be buying Star Wars....errrr BF2142, so until BF3 it is pretty much over for me in August.

Most of the community is experiencing serverside crash problems with 1.3. If you're not, I don't know what to say other than that you're lucky. The server I'm on crashes probably once a day, different servers.
