Well I dont have my new computer yet so I have had to play BF2 at internet café's to keep my score up.
I wondered how many people use them.

Used to be a place called Ball Park here. Wasn't an internet Cafe but it used to play all the classics. I.E StarCraft, Rogue Spear, Diablo 2, Warcraft 2, etc. Was also a Trading Card shop. People played Magic the Gathering, Poke'mon, etc.

yeah i play at one called Iplay. its probably the best in the country, cos its by far smoother and faster and has more computers than all the others in auckland. and well, outside auckland.... its all small towns.
my computer is a hunk of shit, and i dont have the money for the game anyway. so me and my friend play at Iplay. thats why its taken me since july to get corporal with 30 hours.

I do. I use a place called iPlay in Wellington. It's a pretty nice environment. As I've said in previous posts, I only play there because:
A) They have Battlefield, (not the new patch - something went wrong,)
B) My computer can now no longer handle Solitair.

The problem is the cost. I hate having to pay constantly to play.

Auckland iPlay should tell Wellington iPlay how to run the bloody patch.

Aww, come on guys... you can't say Cyber Cafe's don't exist in the US... I live in Kentucky of all places and my town has 3! lol

I actually work for one of them. Not a bad job... we have quite a few people who come here just to play BF2 and I've shown all of them this site. =-)

wow, kiwi's just keep popping up everywhere. now i guess i can't call wellington a small town either... well i can still harrass hamilton i guess.
i'm a member at auckland iplay, so i dont have to pay as much. it costed 10 bucks but u save money. wow, even my computer can play solitaire.

Hmm. Must be a different system at Wellington iPlay. I'm a gold member I think, but you can't buy membership as such - it's just how much you've spent there over time. And my computer's not that bad. Sure, it can't handle solitair, but it can still go on the internet and play the music and family guy episodes I download. It's still a piece of crap though.

yeah at auckland iplay either your a non member and pay like 3 bucks an hour or your a member and pay some weird rate, i'm not sure how its worked out.

I am one of the guys who runs a store called GameOn in Fort Collins, Colorado. To say that they do not exist in the US is very innaccurrate. There are three gaming centers (not just internet cafes, gaming centers) in Fort Collins, which is not a big town. There are nearly a dozen in Denver, I believe.

We run 40 computers and they all have BF2. We have 10 or so guys that come in exclusively to play BF2 to rank up.

i got you beat all my bf2 hours minus about 30 mins are from a pc cafe... its more fun with your friends there, but who needs friends when you got bf2. btw... im almost done building my pc...muahahahaha buh bye pc cafe

Yeah, i only play at I-cafe's, and it seems my new computer is coming next year!!! DAMN.

yeah, quite occasionally. they have KICKASS computers (seriously uber, 4. something GHz p4's, 2gb DDR, nVidia 6500 gtx (i think)...) and fast 1mbps internet, but it's a bit expensive at a dollar an hour.
