This is really disturbing. I have everything that I need to get the Chinese ribbon (the red one with a star).
Everything is checked and I have played as China since then, but I still don´t get the ribbon.
Why is that? Please help me

Hey dude,  no worries.

You will get it,  but the theater awards are sorta strange.  You will probably not see them as received in game, they will just show up on BF2s some time.  Be patient and it will come.

i am haveing this problem as well..  the middle east, and  the far east ribbon.. i have all the green checks but for 3 days now i have been checking in game and on the bbfs site. and nothing. is this a glitch or do i just not get those ones? lol... that would be my luck LOL... do i have to go back in to each map and play or how do i do this.. i have played a whole bunch since i have gotten these green checks. and still nothing... it is rather frustrating i must say..   any help would be awesome at this point....

Many "new" BF2 players are experiencing this problem, and I am assuming it is because you have to have played every map PLUS some minimum amount of time in theater before you receive this ribbon.  I realize that the ribbon descriptions do not mention "time in theater" requirements, but this used to be a reequirement before the 1.3 patch and I believe that this is still in force ... yet no one seems to know how much time.  I've seen the number stated as high as 50 hours, and as low as 5 hours.  Everyone gets it with 10 or fewer hours in theater, but no one know exactly what the number is..

Bottom line is that there is most likely a "time in theater" requirement that is keeping the award from popping up.  Keep playing, and soon you'll get it!!!

The army ribbons are generally 50 hours in theater as well as having played a round on every map they have.  I don't know that you have to play as that team on those maps, but it's best to due so if you can.

If you have met all those requirements and still don't have it, don't worry.  They just kinda show up one day.


Edit:  Assuming you're the MrPonta whose stats I found, you got your ribbon today.  Congrats!

Anyway, the MEC and China ribbons can't be 50 hours since I have them and don't have 50 hours as either yet.  I find this odd since the European Union ribbon and all the Special Forces army ribbons require 50.

thanks for answering this.. and today i played  all day.. and i got both ribbons.. i just must have been the time ) thanks guys!
