As stated in the title i need some pointers on who to create my own clan.

No offense, but if you don't know how to start your own clan, maybe you should join a clan for a little bit first to see how things run.
A good clan is much more complicated than it looks to run - my clan leaders have a bitch of a time of it sometimes. Join a clan, learn the ropes, and give it a shot if you think you are still up to it.

I have actually run a number of clans in many different games. I have a halo2 clan, a guild in EQ2, another guild in World of Warcraft, and a clan in Planetside. I was talking about the rule and regs of EA just because I have never delt with any of them and there doesn't seem to be a definative set of guidlines, at least that I can find for BF2.

would have thought the most basic things u need was a site, and a server. then members etc etc etc.
noobs guide on how to run a clan:
1 - get a website (A PROPPER ONE, none of this free pish with no forums)
2 - get teamspeek or ventrilo
3 - advertise for recruits on bf2s forum and other forums
4 - once you have the members train, get to know eachothers good and bad kits
5 - make tactics for maps
6 - join a ladder, kick ass and get to number 1 in the ladder

Depends on why you are playing. The squad I am in (hivesquad.com) plays mostly for fun. We've had a few scrims, some went well, some didn't. But we play mostly for fun, not in tourneys. Mostly because we are too lazy to enter matches. We just like playing in a squad together.
