- Question for the "exploit" complainers
I take a screenshot and put it in my hall of fame BMP (It's so huge now that it can't fit a 1280x1024 screen, and yes, I included the nicknames of these individuals as well).SargeV1.4 wrote:

Hopefully, when I move on to BF2142, I'll upload my "hall of complainers" up somewhere.
Alpha as fuck.
how about we give EVERYONE stun guns.. they take about 2 seconds to cause the full stun..
they're not lethal.. and that'll stop the bunnyhopping/prone/fucking the ground.. the only way to kill would be with the knife..
grenades would be paint 'nades.. which would also stun the enemy..
he'd just stand there looking at the paint covered area.. with a look of disbelief on his face..
and c4 would be water balloons.. with the same effect as grenades... only a wider stun radius..

1) How many jumps may I execute when I meet someone in a battle without being labeled a "bunny hopper"?
2) Am I allowed to instant prone when I see the enemy? If not, how many seconds should I stand there before I may prone?
3) How many meters am I allowed to move (side-to-side) to stay under the limit of movement-spamming?
4) Am I allowed to dolphin dive only once (the initial enemy encounter)? Or am I restricted from doing it at all?
5) Can I "bunny hop" when I do not see the enemy, but I see their bullets hit the area around me?
6) Am I allowed to jump over the enemy when he prones to confuse him and kill him from behind?
7) How many prones are allowed when I initially face the enemy without being called a "prone spammer"?
8) How many seconds am I allowed to sprint to run away from the enemy without being labeled a "bullet dodger"?
9) If a tank approaches me, am I allowed to "bunny hop" to safety or am I restricted to walking around the corner?
10) How many side-to-side movements are allowed when I face the enemy lest I be called a "strafe spammer"?
These are serious questions and are not intended to laugh at the complainers.
1) Jump as much as you want, as long as its not in an attempt to evade my fire.
2)GO prone when you want to. I do.
3)Movement dosen't bother me.
4)It personally irritates me when people dolphin dive. I'd say no here.
5)Same as #1
6)I think you know my answer here.
7)I don't accuse of prone spamming. So I don't care.
8)Sprint, is key, don't jump. Sprint away, Run Nyte, RUN!
9)Same as #1.
10)Same as #3.
I have answered seriously.
Flame? or Neg Karma? Don't care. I've gotten used to it.

Yeah, please do, I will be happy to blow your head off for it.2) Am I allowed to instant prone when I see the enemy? If not, how many seconds should I stand there before I may prone?
Dumb question, your obviously bored3) How many meters am I allowed to move (side-to-side) to stay under the limit of movement-spamming?
Try it, see how far you get.4) Am I allowed to dolphin dive only once (the initial enemy encounter)? Or am I restricted from doing it at all?
Yeah, but yer gonna die anyways5) Can I "bunny hop" when I do not see the enemy, but I see their bullets hit the area around me?
But OFC, I love watching people with support gun's jump to the ground and start spamming, 2 step's left and boom with my medic gun to the head, c ya, dont wanna be ya.6) Am I allowed to jump over the enemy when he prones to confuse him and kill him from behind?
Pointless question7) How many prones are allowed when I initially face the enemy without being called a "prone spammer"?
Just a little further than the game allows?8) How many seconds am I allowed to sprint to run away from the enemy without being labeled a "bullet dodger"?
Naw, cuz i like tanks, please stand still and die.9) If a tank approaches me, am I allowed to "bunny hop" to safety or am I restricted to walking around the corner?

Well they got a smile outa me
There are no rules until you kill an admin or clan member. Then there are lots of rules!
What I dont understand is if you were being shot at in real life IE: military engagement, police officer, SWAT team, or live in south central wouldnt u do WHATEVER it takes NOT to be hit?? Im a Dallas, Texas Police Officer and Ive been shot at one time (been on the force 1 1/2 years) and when me and my partner were engaged by 2 house burglers I ran and dove over a knee high brick wall to avoid being fukin shot and to gain cover so I could return fire. So am I a Dolphin Diver because I did do a dolphin dive over that brick wall ; but i didnt get shot I did what it took to avoid being shot. Or should I have walked around the end of the wall and then slowly layed down to avoid being called a dolphin dive or a prone spammer??

Die however you want to. Hopping, running, whistling... wait... can't whistle in this game. Now that should be in the next patch!
Anyways, I was saying something about dying... OH YEAH?! Remember that you can't shoot while jumping!
2) Am I allowed to instant prone when I see the enemy? If not, how many seconds should I stand there before I may prone?
However fast that you can do it for what the game allows. Pity that has changed in recent patches though. Not a dolphin diver, but I did like going prone, killing someone almost immediately, and at least get back up quickly enough to not be killed (after all, I was reloading my bolt-action), because I was stuck on the ground.
3) How many meters am I allowed to move (side-to-side) to stay under the limit of movement-spamming?
Is "movement-spamming" even a term? I'm starting to believe that your post is more about sarcasm than a "learning mood."
4) Am I allowed to dolphin dive only once (the initial enemy encounter)? Or am I restricted from doing it at all?
However many that you can do for what the game allows.
5) Can I "bunny hop" when I do not see the enemy, but I see their bullets hit the area around me?
Is there a jump key that can be used on the keyboard? If there is, use it as much as the game programming allows.
6) Am I allowed to jump over the enemy when he prones to confuse him and kill him from behind?
How do you know that he's confused? Maybe he's just stuck on the ground, because they put that "delay" to get back up from prone, and he can't get back up to kill you.
7) How many prones are allowed when I initially face the enemy without being called a "prone spammer"?
Prone-spamming? Who comes up with these terms? Given that I'm not really sure what a "prone spammer" is, I'm gonna have to go with the old standby:
Whatever the game programming allows.
8) How many seconds am I allowed to sprint to run away from the enemy without being labeled a "bullet dodger"?
Run away as much as you like. You can't be called "bullet dodger", because that name has already been taken by PID: 43545789. You can't look up the account though, because it has less than 100 points. Sorry.
9) If a tank approaches me, am I allowed to "bunny hop" to safety or am I restricted to walking around the corner?
Is this an opinion question? Because, IMO, you should get the hell away in whatever manner you can. However, I would recommend that you call the tank driver an "armor whore" after you find a safe place that he can't blast you from.
10) How many side-to-side movements are allowed when I face the enemy lest I be called a "strafe spammer"?
"Strafe Spammer?" Wtf? Wait... YOU ARE JUST BEING SARCASTIC AREN'T YOU?! AWWW... YOU GOT ME, YOU TRICKY DEVIL YOU!!!

11. In real life if someone with an AK was shooting at you would you go prone asap, would you jump run dive to get out of the way of bullets?
I know I would..
bah i say do whatever it takes to stay alive. if someone cant kill you while your jumping (since you cant shoot while you jump now days), then they deserve to die. the people who complain about bunny hoppers, dolphin divers, etc. are probably the ones that once they see you jump, they panic, dont aim good, and probably hold that mouse button down. or there the ones that even though a box is right next to them and they see you coming down the road, they lay down in the middle of the street instead of taking cover and fireing.

I do number 6 alot.
But good point really.
Only one out of the whole list that was annoying was bunnyhoppers.
Alright when you are dodging tank shells as they are obviously overpowering, anything to dodge that shit. Jumping round corners and over peoples heads is fine, the most annoying thing is, when its an even fight walking head on then all of a sudden the guy just jumps constantly while you try and shoot him, for no aparent reason, when he may as well have just stopped aim and fired his weapon.
Speed is everything in this game but that is just a load of crap. Might as well just have a fucking pogo stick rammed up his arse hole.
All the rest I have no problem with, only bunnyhopping in cqc combat is the one that pisses me right off.

1) How many jumps may I execute when I meet someone in a battle without being labeled a "bunny hopper"? 1, according to whiners.
2) Am I allowed to instant prone when I see the enemy? If not, how many seconds should I stand there before I may prone? You're not allowed to prone - whiners
3) How many meters am I allowed to move (side-to-side) to stay under the limit of movement-spamming? You're not supposed to move!
4) Am I allowed to dolphin dive only once (the initial enemy encounter)? Or am I restricted from doing it at all? You can't
5) Can I "bunny hop" when I do not see the enemy, but I see their bullets hit the area around me? Nope, stand still like a deer
6) Am I allowed to jump over the enemy when he prones to confuse him and kill him from behind? Hell no, confusion? On a battlefield? I think not good sir.
7) How many prones are allowed when I initially face the enemy without being called a "prone spammer"? 1.
8) How many seconds am I allowed to sprint to run away from the enemy without being labeled a "bullet dodger"? .32 miliseconds.
9) If a tank approaches me, am I allowed to "bunny hop" to safety or am I restricted to walking around the corner? Walking, slowly, around the corner.
10) How many side-to-side movements are allowed when I face the enemy lest I be called a "strafe spammer"? Just one.
These are serious questions and are not intended to laugh at the complainers.
While I'm not really one of the complainers, I've been studying them closely in my expensive laboratories, and I have some insight into the thought process of the "Realism Complainer". I'll do my best to fill in the blanks seriously, and to add the "realism" limitations per your request where they're relevant.
Hope that's what you're looking for.Nyte wrote:

Please answer these questions in order when replying:
1) How many jumps may I execute when I meet someone in a battle without being labeled a "bunny hopper"?
Zero. If you were in the position of a live soldier, jumping is suicide. You can't fire, you're losing energy, and you're a bigger target than someone in cover crouching or prone. So you shouldn't do it, even though it provides you an advantage at times given that this is a game.
2) Am I allowed to instant prone when I see the enemy? If not, how many seconds should I stand there before I may prone?
Yes you're allowed to go prone instantly. It provides weapon support, makes you a smaller target and it keeps your head low.
3) How many meters am I allowed to move (side-to-side) to stay under the limit of movement-spamming?
This one is tricky. You see, a real soldier who is only moving 1m to 1m horizontally is just asking to be shot. Realistically, movement should be from cover to cover, and as quickly as possible. It's not so much the strafing that will be complained about, it's the rapid, quick side-to-side movement that's "unrealistic".
4) Am I allowed to dolphin dive only once (the initial enemy encounter)? Or am I restricted from doing it at all?
Dolphin diving isn't really something that can be done "once." It's a combination of moving and going prone twice. So no, you're not allowed to dolphin dive. There's nothing realistic about doing the "worm" during a firefight.
5) Can I "bunny hop" when I do not see the enemy, but I see their bullets hit the area around me?
No, you never know when the fight will be at your feet, and if you're jumping around like a clown you're the first one to die.
6) Am I allowed to jump over the enemy when he prones to confuse him and kill him from behind?
Absolutely not. The other issue with jumping that I haven't mentioned is that you're carrying a heavy pack, and depending on your kit, you're armored as well. You shouldn't even be able to jump as high as you can in this game to begin with, much less over another man.
7) How many prones are allowed when I initially face the enemy without being called a "prone spammer"?
One.
8) How many seconds am I allowed to sprint to run away from the enemy without being labeled a "bullet dodger"?
Run, and keep running. The only exception here is if your squad needs you. Never leave your mates behind, even if it kills you.
9) If a tank approaches me, am I allowed to "bunny hop" to safety or am I restricted to walking around the corner?
No. Even though it works better in this game. You can run faster than you can jump.
10) How many side-to-side movements are allowed when I face the enemy lest I be called a "strafe spammer"?
As many as it takes, as long as they're full strafes, see question 3 for more info.
These are serious questions and are not intended to laugh at the complainers.

However, if you manage to get killed in the process, hopefully it was for a great reason; like killing that 40-0 tank whore to ruin his perfect game! Hehehe! I know, I'm mean! But hey! I've had my 20-0 sniping streaks ruined by a very selective commander's arty strike!
If by some chance I'm fighting in armor, and I get jihad-jeeped... oh well... I'll be more wary next time.
IMHO, the truly great armor players will be aware, and will rarely fall victim to this type of tactic.

My main goal is to find a good running server that doesn't have a bunch of whiny bitches that complain about (or start kick votes for):
1. Being spawn-camped/base-raped.
2. Being rammed by a jet.
3. Being noob-tubed.
4. Anyone better than them MUST be a hacker.
5. Being the victime of plane/chopper/armor-whoring.
6. Being the victim of a jihad-jeep.
7. Being artillery'd in main/uncapturable bases.
8. Not getting the commander position and giving the current commander less than 2 minutes of command time before mutinying against them.
9. Being killed by a air-dropped vehicle.
So, I guess what I'm saying is that I'd like to play the game for fun, and not have that ruined by people that take things that are a part of the game personally.
Other than that, I'd really like to get my sniper rifle KDR beyond 2:1 while still maintaining a decent accuracy and headshot count.
Hmmm... you know... I've just become aware that I "whine" about whiners!TrueArchon wrote:
I don't hate any kits, because they are all useful in their own way. I've just seen too many people who are good with any single kit to say otherwise. Anybody who hates a kit, and I mean genuinely hates the kit (instead of "doesn't prefer"), really has some issues that should be taken care of, and learn to broaden their horizons.
So what do I hate about kits? Anybody who whines about a particular kit. Actually, I'm not too partial to whiners who complain about game basics in general (i.e. "NO SPAWNCAMPING!", "PLANE WHORE!", "USELESS SNIPER!", "RETARDED MEDIC!", etc., etc.). Some people should just shut up and play the game...
Great! Thanks usmarine2005! Thanks for making me look deeply into myself, and see the hypocrite that I am! Sheesh... Bastard...
Hehehe.
In my opinion, doing all these things is what makes players able to kill others much more effectively, it is how people get a high kdr, I don't and look at mine, its poor

As long as you're alive and the enemy is dead, it's ok in my book. If you're not supposed to do it, it shouldn't be in the game.Nyte wrote:

Hopping/diving/whatever is fine in my book, unless you can't do anything without it and use it 24/7 just to survive, in which case you suck.
I am re-excavating this thread because of newly discovered groups of these types of individuals.
Alpha as fuck.
Fair enough, but do you have any new criteria, or are you still going by the original post?Nyte wrote:

In the context of the ancient OP, however, the only thing I consider to be an exploit is the use of glitches in the game. Other than that, (i.e. stuff like bunny hopping or whoring) I consider it a chance to revise my tactics and find another, more effective, way to eliminate someone.
Honest answers for what they are worth

Seeing as how I'm in a "learning" mood, I would like to adjust and play in which the "game was intended to be played". These people insist on rejecting bunny hopping, dolphin diving, instant proning, and movement spamming and I would like to know the realism limits.
Please answer these questions in order when replying:
1) How many jumps may I execute when I meet someone in a battle without being labeled a "bunny hopper"?
I would say no more than 3.
2) Am I allowed to instant prone when I see the enemy? If not, how many seconds should I stand there before I may prone?
Hell YES
3) How many meters am I allowed to move (side-to-side) to stay under the limit of movement-spamming?
No limit
4) Am I allowed to dolphin dive only once (the initial enemy encounter)? Or am I restricted from doing it at all?
Don't do it
5) Can I "bunny hop" when I do not see the enemy, but I see their bullets hit the area around me?
Subject to #1 above yes
6) Am I allowed to jump over the enemy when he prones to confuse him and kill him from behind?
HELL YES preferably by shoving a knife up his ass
7) How many prones are allowed when I initially face the enemy without being called a "prone spammer"?
Sticks and stones....
8) How many seconds am I allowed to sprint to run away from the enemy without being labeled a "bullet dodger"?
Again who cares what they say. I mean doh you are suppose to be dodging bullets.
9) If a tank approaches me, am I allowed to "bunny hop" to safety or am I restricted to walking around the corner?
Subject to #1 above hell yes
10) How many side-to-side movements are allowed when I face the enemy lest I be called a "strafe spammer"?

These are serious questions and are not intended to laugh at the complainers.
