Well I have been reading all the topic and just dream of a 2MB connection,More servers and more nOObs, I would just like to make connection to the out side world. South Africa has 6 BF2 servers IN TOTAL, ADSL prices that is so high you cant explaine (a 512k line will cost R466 ($77) and that is excuding the cap) and our little cap that cost R642 for a 10 GB cap and that is the highest that it can go ($107) and now for the players we have 852 +/- player and our clans are better then all of your clans and the player.. for example FiB is one of the best clans in SA and ASF is the best in Urban. We can take part in the world cups becuase of the lag. I dont know how many of the BF2s readers know about SGS ( http://games.saix.net/ ) that is our little hosters feel free to read our Forums.... so to all you Germans,Brits and what evar Wellcom to South Africa and the pains of Telkom and Eskom

BF2 is nice except when ppl form other countrys play on our server then we lag
Its true. Our Internet is only run by one company, so the monoply just rippes us off BIG TIME. We have some of the most dedicated players in the world. Check our stats: http://bf2s.com/rankings/score/za/ Its just rediculous. Uncapped and a 1MB line would cost a total $475. Rediculous. Vietnam is even far cheaper ffs

Yep, my friend Onryou is on 56k, he says that there is only 1 internet provider.

The internet prices remind me of the time when we first had broadband and it costed £30 a month to uphold a 512k line.
lucky us Hive came to Iceland and the prices went down and better offesr, Unlimeted DL for 50 $ a month ^.^PBAsydney wrote:

used to be like 60 for a 1 GB max DL and i was SHARING that so we ALLWAYS went over 1 GB a MONTH!
