Just yesternday I caught Condi peeking at me while I was taking a shower, and President Bush planted a bug in my dogs nose.Marconius wrote:
So far, Bush has been caught red-handed breaking the law. He claims that he can basically illegally wiretap Americans and invade their privacy as it is a "time of war."
As opposed to the crying conservative pussies?Major_Spittle wrote:

Libs won't control jack in 2008, pls don't cry this time you liberal pussies.
Nothing but a buffer period like the Clinton years.Marconius wrote:
What do you foresee happening to America if a Democrat gets elected in 2008?
It's called Fox News.Marconius wrote:
Does anyone feel like there is something more sinister going on to ensure that Republicans can force another election to come out in favor of them?
The Republicans (and more importantly, the electorate), won't have to say the GOP was wrong all along; because the Democrats, recognizing that the wiretaps and other tactics of the Bush administration are morally wrong, will voluntarily refrain from using them, even if they are determined to be 'legal.'Marconius wrote:
If the Republicans/Bush Administration think they can get away with anything now due to the US being at "war," what will happen if a Democrat gets elected in 2008? Will they all back down and say, "Oh, no no no, we were wrong, we weren't supposed to do all of that as it was illegal at the time...so it looks like you Democrats can't do the same!" Does anyone feel like there is something more sinister going on to ensure that Republicans can force another election to come out in favor of them?

I would have thought Fox is right wing is a simpler explanation that everyone else is left wing. Thanks for the correction, your spelling is correcter than mineHorseman 77 wrote:

I could do that. Or I could bring my shitty Russkie (two ss's) whilst everyone's busy looking at nipples, and starting shooting stuff. Russian parts are so cheap, every time it breaks, I just buy a new one. Haha.Horseman 77 wrote:
PS if I want'd to dominate the would not try it with a shitty old Ruskie tank, I would Sell porn. Put a nipple in your Sig. Just a big nipple. Trust me.
Both are true. Media bias in this country is pervasive, and Fox is as bad as the rest of them...just in the other direction.Bubbalo wrote:

The Patriot act is unconstitutional, it removes rights to privacy (email is publicly available after 6 months with out a warrant). It should have never been passed. With out our rights and freedoms this country (US) does not stand for anything except maybe corruption.Rathji wrote:
I am not American so I may be way off, but I thought the Patriot act that was passed after 9/11 allows them to do this? If that is the case, then it hardly seems illegal, even if you don't agree with the law.Marconius wrote:

Strangely, the least biased news source (as far as broadcast outlets go), in my experience, has been The News Hour on PBS. It is surprising, because NPR (National Public Radio, which is affiliated with PBS) is HIGHLY biased.
