Pretty simple idea. I just think a laser guided missile like the ones on bombers would work better. It's probably never gonna happen but i can dream can't i
Things it would do that i think would be better for the game:
Having a pilot and gunner will always be better then going solo. Basically, newbs suck with tv missiles and pilots get frustrated so they either shoot them in the face or use boundry to get rid of them so they can fly and tv alone. If the opposing team has a good TV user you pretty much have to do this if you plan to live. A newb TV user vs an experienced user will result in a very dead noob and an even more frustrated pilot.
The laser guided missile is easier to use against armor. It would also be really difficult to solo laser guide because of the way choppers spin out of control.
Heli vs heli, you'll still be able to make a hit with the laser guided but it will be easier to counter if the pilot pulls off evasive maneuvers (rolls ect). So in this case fancy piloting actually pays off for once, a generally good thing imo.
Most matches i've had it just feels like i'm hunting the other enemy chopper to TV him before he TV's me instead of doing what i think choppers should be, taking out armor and supporting infantry.
Be kind
