That have happened to me too. I sat in my tank without crosshair, but I still manage to shot down an attackhelo with the cannon

It happened quite a bit back in my 1942 days. One time it happened to this guy and since he couldnt see where the buildings were, he just sat in the corner of the map and shout out our locations to his teammates :s

Yeah I did this as well.. lost my flags but hit Alt again to get them back.
IN-Game admin for BF2CC is great.. now I don't have to alt tab out for that.. all i gotta do is type in chat.. !k eckzak tk ... and you get your ass booted from our server for Tk'ing..

It's handy.

When I alt-tab too much, BF2 looks as if it's gone psychadelic (sp?).

Putting it on non-fullscreen helps. However, it really slows down everything else.
