To whoever -1'd me for my original post.
Stereotypes are useful tools. When the majority of a population of a particular group falls into a particular category it's much easier and more efficient to blanket the entire group with that stereotype and deal with the individuals who do not fit the stereotype on a personal basis. Show me a brave Frenchman and I'll treat that individual with the respect that anybody else in the world who actually bathes may deserve.

The only thing Napoleon succeded in was getting a dose of crabs, and he had to pay for that.
