I recently bought Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter on PC. I must say I love it! But the other day it added a new patch:

It made me think; in this one patch it adds more than the BF2 booster packs do, and the patch is for free! Now why do they torture us so with bringing out these packs that do add some interesting stuff, but quite frankly are a waste of money! Also I am an avid player of IL2-Sturmvoik: Forgotten Battles. And the patches in those add a full 26 flyable aircraft, maps, updates, more AI planes and more weapons!
Why can't EA/Dice take a leaf and release these maps for free? Like Wake 2007!
I know for the money, but damn I hate paying as I'm a tight-ass!
