This is most likely the worst EA program ever, it is desgined to stop you from copying the cd or something like that but it lags my bf2 very bad crashes the game for me anyone knows how to disable this

umm what are you talking about? disable what? and as joemah said the cd's/dvd is easy to copy

@stoned_smurfz: have a look in ur Taskmanager when u started BF2 there should be something called ~e5.001 thats what desertstorm is talkin about
There are times when I exit BF2 and it plays a looping music sample. I end the ~e5.001 process using the Task Manager and boom, almost instant RAM usage drop and you are ready to use your computer again.

You get that lag because for some reason the game does not shut down immediately when you hit quit in BF2. When you shut down ~e5.001, BF2 also shuts down with it, hence turning the music off.joemah wrote:

Yes I know that. I was pointing it out to other people that have complained of the computer hanging for minutes after shutting it down.
