The new improvements for a new patch should be infantry only maps. Because alot of people absolutely hate the crappy tank whores! Like me! What do you think.

Nope . BF2 main feature is vehicles . Tank whores are part of balance .
The new map:Road to ..whatever seems to be a Infantry only map and it will be with a new patch
i think it'd be cool... but all vehicle whores would revolt or something....

But because many people are up for some good infantry fights, EA will need to deliver them what they want to keep them happy. They are listening to their customers, incredible.
I give them credits for working out an important feature for this game. And yes, although I like tankwhoring from time to time, infantry only option will rock!

I think it's a good idea. Although, I LOVE C4ing tanks and APCs.
The best is in Warlord. The start of a game when a tank and APC are coming up main street. You've already laid down 2 C4's so when the tank comes up the ramp - BOOM! He is dead creating a road block for the APC. That is when you jump out, run up to the side of the APC and - BOOM again!
The map starts with:
Lt.Garbo [C4] Player1
Lt.Garbo [C4] Player2
And they loose their strong start momentum!

I think they should have to the option to turn off vehicles because aparantley 'Road to Jalalabad' will be infantry only so if that is a success then maybe they should add this feature.
karkand, mashtuur and sharqi would be very nice without tanks / apcs or choppers... but at least humvees should be allowed...
Yea i agree humvees and vods should be aloud. or the occasional black hawk. and cow.
Well you can go to some unranked infantry server where tanks, APCs and jeeps are removed. And there's also some great ranked infantry servers where's always admin in and where those tank/APC users will be kicked. So play in those servers. But as Longbow said, vehicles are part (big part) of battlefield so I can't see any point to make some infantry only map to the game.

I think infantery only is a server setting and not on a single map. Just hope that there are not to many noob admins that are going to make Operation Clean Sweep and maps like it infantery only.
