OK this post is not for bitching, moaning etc.  There are plenty of other posts where we can all complain about the game.

This thread is to assess the amount and frequency of CTDs, join crashes, server crashes and other related issues.  Please save your rants for other threads. Trust me, there are plenty of them to choose from.

Please post only ONCE per day and include the following information:

# of login crashes (any crash or hang between user login and choosing "join")
# of join crashes (any crash immediately after clicking the Join button).
# of server crashes (crashes during game)  Note: these crashes may or not be server related, it is possible that your client crashed and not the server.  The best way I know of to determine if the sever itself crashed is to reload the game and/or server and if it is nearly empty then it was likely a server crash (perhaps someone here has a better guage for this)?

I'll start this off,

Today I had:

1 login crash
3 join crashes
2 server crashes

during approx. 2 hours of gaming time.

well i have had a combined total of 125+
CTDs before 1.3: ~20
Connection problems: ~35
CTD and Connection and Ping Spikes after 1.3: ~75+

forget about estimates of what has happened in the past.  just make a few notes each day while you are playing and post em up here when you are done.

try this out, this is what I did and it hasn't crashed for me since since:

I deleted the "Battlefield 2" folder in "my documents" and it hasn't crashed since.  The problem is with your profiles in that folder.

Once you've deleted the Battlefield 2 folder in "my documents" retrieve your account from EA when you log in and problem solved (you'll have to re-map your keys again, and for gfx settings  if you changed them though as everything goe's back to the default.  You'll also loose your favourites).

Try this out it worked for me and a few others.

CTD when join (10 the first week after 1.3) but since I found my own silly solution for that (http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=29764) NONE!
server crashes: occasionaly but less than the first week.
Punkbuster kicks: once every week.
