Hello!

In a nut shell, my rank will not advance from that of Master Sergeant to First Sergeant.

Firstly, I've checked 2-3 sites including this one for the reqs and I have both the exp (23,120) and ALL the badges either at basic, expext or Veteran.

Secondly, I asked a few times in game about this and I kept getting told that it could take a day or so for the stats to update. Fair enough, I waited a day... but nothing. I waited another day and still nothing. I waited a third day and well... still nothing! On each of these days I've played ranked servers at different times throughout the day and gained points and fully finished rounds. Its now been 4 days, and having failed again this morning to gain my rank I thaught I'd consult you good folks

Does it really take this long for the stats to update? Are the requirements stated on the different sites I visited incorrect if so what should I be amining for?

If you wish to check my stats to see if I indeed meet the reqs then my nick is Slinky*Avenger.

Any help would be great.

Just had a look at your stats and a quick question, did you get basic knife/pistol before you got the 20000 points as i noticed the dates your received them are very recent. If you got them after your promotion then you can't get first sergent.

Like you can't get Sergent Major with out having all the basic badges before you reach 50000.

You cannot rank up from master sergeant to first sergeant.  Your next promotion will come at 50k when you get promoted to sergeant major.

How come I canot rank up. Has the rank been removed? I see pleanty of people in-game who hold this rank...

The rank is still there, but you can hold either one or the other, not both.  If you did not have all your basic badges before you reached 20k points, you will only be a sergeant major.

You got the Master Sergeant rank because you got the point requirement of 20,000 before you got the awards required for the rank of First Sergeant.

Awww, I didn't know you had to have the badges before the rank. I still required knife and pistol when I first reached 20k.

Well that sucks :( And I spent all that time getting a bloody knife badge.

Don't worry about it, it's sad but now you can concentrate on the other basic badges for the 50k rank. And having basic knife and pistol will give you a medal after 200houres (along with the other basic kits) so it was worth going for them. The only problem now is that a first serg will be elected over you if you want to go for commander.
