So i just spent 2 rounds on Dalian Plant flying for the china team. total in the 2 rounds 25 kills and 0 deaths and 0 team kills.

ok i know most of you hate jets or what not but i was being a good pilot. i spent most of the round trying to maintain the airways. if i saw a UAV that showed a lot of guys on the ground and none of my team there i would drop a bomb. but most of my kills came from taking out other jets, ground to air targets, or hellys. was a good round.

but the funny part was i believe i should have had 2 or 3 more kills then that. i would just hold lock on them to keep them from bombing and wait till they stopped all there tricks so i could shoot them down. but 2 or 3 times they would fly around like mad and then boom they find there carrier or the water. I would like to say my mear presents in a jet frightened them but i doubt it. too bad you can't get a kill assist for pilots that freak out and loose there sence of direction when they are targeted.

for all you people that hate how the missle work i would have to say slow up and take your time on them.  granted i missed a lot but i also hit a lot too. you just have to know when to release. and don't shoot a missle if they are chasing one of your jets just use the guns then.

I usually just kill them before they crash.

shut up...im one of those pilots lol.

usually its not because i freak, its because since i use a mouse to pilot, it slips, falls off the desk, or since i have to keep lifting it and moving it to keep going in one direction, once i go into a dive, im usually done.

here's a trick for you: select the bombs when hunting, that way they don't catch on that you're there behind them. They will think they're safe and flight straight. Then, just when they are about to do something that takes up their attention (I.e. bombing) switch to missles, get the lock, and shoot. As they've got their attention focused on something they are trying to pull off, 95% of the time they won't react fast enough: BOOM.

i usually do that but in these rounds there was so much in the air it was confusing and i found with the way they played i could lock them make them use there flairs and have time to take them out if i switched from ground then they would still have there flairs and i almost always miss if a flair is anywhere.

i love tapping F, becuase the alarm goes on off MUCH faster than a normal lock, and they think that it's just a bunch of random locks, but for you it still works and when you switch to missiles it's already locked.

If I am being tailed and locked etc I like to slow my jet down a tiny bit whilst dodging rockets and they always fly past you lmao. Confuses the hell outta some people when they just keep looping round and flying past you leaving themselves open to attack.

if you're going to pursue enemy jets with the bomb HUD, at least use your cannon on their cockpit.  i've gotten many kills this way, since the cannon rounds go through the cockpit glass and kill the pilot without blowing up their jet.  very classy.

and if you would try that trick on me, it probably wouldn't work so well, since i use alternate views to check for inbound missles when i am in lock.

Ive been the pilot chasing and the one thats crashed a few times.  If i crash it's because im flying in the camera looking back, kinda tough to know what you're doing when all your controls are backwards.
