Trouble Starting BF2!

Hey guys, I am experiencing a problem and hope desperatly to find a solution.

PROBLEM: When I insert the CD, and click on Play BF2 (From the Autorun Menu), the BF2 Window will pop up, and then just stay like that. The game will never actually load. The same happens if I try to use the desktop shortcut.

This never used to happen and all of a sudden it just wont load. I reformatted my computer, installed the game, and still have the same problem. I downloaded a No-CD patch, and the game worked perfectly on the highest video settings. But due to the fact that I was using a No-CD patch, Punkbuster would kick me off of online servers.

It used to work perfectly on this laptop, just lately it began to stop working. I have installed the latest video drivers and still no luck. Thanks for the replies.

Try downloading Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% and then download a BF2 Mini-Image file from a site such as: www.gamecopyworld.com, I used the mini-image a couple of times when I couldn't locate my BF2 CD and once when my DVD-RW drive refused to open and I never got kicked by PunkBuster.

It works, but not the same =/ (Cant make it full screen... for some reason) Anyone have any other solutions?

Can't make it full screen? Odd, I know there's a way to switch from full screen mode to windowed mode posted somewhere on these forums, so I suggest searching for it and doing the opposite of what it says?

Sounds like you have renamed your BF2.exe change it back to its original name and it should work fine.
