it took me a while before someone told me you could guide the AT rockets, although i think it made me a better AT player having played by just shooting them straight for so long

Sniper, lost a lot, wandering about, trying to Climb hills. Did some cool back flips during Arty strikes
LOL, I thought that too!wahjot wrote:

I thought they were like the RPG or something. I also for a while didn't know you could keep the mouse button held down to keep in the scope view after firing a bolt action sniper rifle, so I only ever knew if I hit them by whether they died or not.
At first I actually preferred the SVD over the M24!

It took me about a month before I realised you could use Caps Lock to go into the commander screen. Because of this I was always in a jet flying around so I could quickly go somewhere and order whatever was needed with T

laid all of my c4 down at daqing oilfields at the flag closest to the us base and then climb up a smoke stack and wait for 5 dudes to get on the flag, let their flag get up half way and then watch them all fly up towards me after I hit the red button. I loved doing this as well on Songshua Stalemate... I used to CRY literally because I laughed so fucking hard.
I miss those days...

Unfortunatly this is a question we all must ask ourselves as EA can wipe you retroactively for actions you've taken all the way back to when you bought the game. To add to that they reserve the right to add additional rules that were not in effect back then and still punish you for them as well.
On top of this they can take their time with this process and let you play for a few more months after they decide that its illegal and wipe you retroactively months after the decision was made initially therefore nicking a couple extra months from you as well.
There is no statute of limitations or system of checks and balances to protect you as a player.
They do this to keep the playing field "balanced" at all times especially for the purposes of maintaining flexibility in the products placement and generating new customers as existing customers are not valued since the money is already spent. You can suffer for a change in EA's corporate marketing model.
Remember that EA is a corporation and they do not issue quarterly reports on the health and well being of this "community" or any other for products they sell. It focuses on new product sales.

lets see... i threw grenades against a wall, suicided alot, TKed a little, tried to snipe, and then gave up for about 2 months
This baffles me because it still happens to me to this day. I roll into, say, the second base at Sharqi in a shiny new tank and start laying waste to the people scattering for the tow and generally attempying to flee, except for the one guy who charges with his pistol blazing, pinging shots off the armor and getting mowed down in the process.
To set the record straight I want everyone to know:
Bullets don't hurt tanks unless you shoot the guy in top.
Thank you

I wish they would keep those dots consistant from map to map. Or at least fix it to where it is. Ever notice that? Cause it bugs the heck out of me.ValentijnR wrote:

i got this one in the early days:
Used to love jumping, throwing my c4, then turning (still in the air) and as soon as i land blow it and not get damamged at all. So fun, i had a k/d ratio with c4 of like, 5 to 1, lol.
