So today I was playing the bf2s 64 man, and when I went in, it said I was a private, with no unlocks. I DCed from the server, then went back in. I had all of my unlocks, but ti still showed me as a private. Is something wrong with EA or just a quick glitch?
I had that glitch the other night. same exact thing, first no unlocks, then i did. It goes away after you restart the compter, but all the points, awards, etc that you aquire while playing as a private, dissapear once your rank is returned to normal. On a happier note, though, i got my basic armor and basic support for the short time i was a private!!!
best hint is to stay away from those servers - just frustrates a little when you miss awards and points after long rounds

Ive had the same problem a few times recently. Disconnecting and reconnecting worked for me. I played a server today that said if you were joining and used the 1.3 incrimental patch then you need to leave, because people who used the incrimental patch are the ones that cause server crashes. Well....I have the incrimental patch...and the server didnt crash while I was playing.....liars I tell you , liars.
As people have stated above, disconnect and re-connect.
You will still get your points for any games you play.
I tested this, by playing for 3 hours and re-checked my stats. I did get my 500 points.

lol didnt ever had that before i had it so much, are you sure you just didnt joined an unranked
This glitch has been around for ages.
Sometimes I don't even notice it's happened until it comes up with something like "Congratulations, you have been awarded Basic Support!" or something similar.
Sometimes a server just fails to load up your stats. Nothing to worry about, but it's something some servers are more prone to do than others, so personally I'd steer clear of them until they prove themselves a bit more reliable.
