I thought I would share my experience to overcoming this issue. I have noticed allot of chat about this in various threads and thought it would be good to make the short term work around a bit more accessible then buried in another thread somewhere.

Don't select "Join Game" let "Auto Ready" do its thing and you're good to go.

I used to get this issue all the time but since I've been doing this I haven't had the problem.

Hope this helps somebody.

But then it takes like 5 minutes to join and you don't get any vehicles.

Instead, press ESC to join.

it happens to me sometimes too. First it freezes during like 5 seconds then I see the windows pointer over the loading screen and I know that in about 2 seconds, im gonna see my desktop... during the freeze, the last second of music before the crash loops

CrazeD - We're talking about when you first start to play where you're more than likely going to join a game half way through making your vehicle point moot. You're talking about when a round ends and you press join to start the next round in which case I have never experienced a full crash to desktop.

As for the 5mins comment, it may feel like 5 mins when you're itchin to play but it's more like 20secs.

my computer crash when i joining the first time after that i only will have problems with the connection.
but the game crashes with and without autojoin so dont make the difference
