Seems like a lot of BS coming from those who don't feel they will ever achieve a higher rank. I guess none of you noticed that EA already lowered the rank requirements for you. Be glad it's not still 200,000 for 2nd Lt.
Its true, rank doesn't matter outside this game. Same goes for the accomplishments in any other game you play. No one cares how many superbowls you won in madden 03, and no one will care about your BF2 rank down the road. For now it's fun so quit the whinning.
I wonder how many of those saying rank doesn't matter will eagerly go chasing the next carrot EA dangles in front of you in 2142.
