I run all settings on medium cept for the lighting and all that shiz which is on low (so i can see those pesky snipers hiding in the shadows). And have Anti Aliasing on 16x (thanks to riva tuner) and my game looks super nice.
Anyone who plays the game without AA is insane.

will i need to buy a better graphics card or will the one i have be good enough to run it on medium and my only options are 4x on anti aliasing when i get my ram will i be able to run the game better because ive tried running it on medium and it looks pretty mad but thats not on everything medium its just some things but im laggy and if i get the ram do you think it will be running better
I have a 7600GT(cost: $170 off newegg.com), 3.0ghz P4 and 1GB RAM...I get about 50-60fps all settings maxed 2x AA @ 1280x1024

You need to fix your driver settings to you can get those jagged/choppy edges off your game.
I have a Dual Core Pentium D processor, 1.25 gb og ram, and a 7800 GTX 256MB. I can't max out though because the patch will KILL my frames. I put alot of medium settings and my frames drop from 50-15. I should be getting around 50 with EVERYTHING MAXED OUT. But patch 1.3 messed up my game.

i have every thing on i expert for one thing on medium.......and i barely get lag..........i have a bad ass computer.....hahahahha
so will my 1.25gb of ram boost my graphics or will i need more shit :S cause i know nothing about computers like hardware etc
2 gigs of ram
Nvidia 6600 or higher
= high settings.

I do need 2 Gigs of RAM, then my 7800 will let run everything maxed out with better frames.
theres is system tweaks that you can do i got about 10-15 frames more from doing it on xp
I have mine all on High settings .. even SF which is known to bog down your CPU.

The card cost me $NZ250 (155US/125EU) secondhand about a year ago, I can have stuff on medium no problems

thats bull - you can not run bf2 on high via a 6600 its doesnt have enough gpu power to run it on high without it stalling to 2 fps since it doesnt have enough pipelines to send info through. medium all round for 6600gt. A 6800 series card would be the first card in nvidias range to even be remotely capable of playing it on high.VeNg3nCe^ wrote:
