If the other team isn't using armor and my team is winning or pretty damn close to winning I'll join the Assault orgy but that usually isn't the case. I'll chose the tank since the Humvee is SLOW AS FUCK! I'f I'm gonna gimp along on the road might as well do it with some protection.

also on the whole "jihad jeep" thing, if your main target is to kill the spawn raping tank then yeh, jihad jeeping is a smart tactical move, and anyone who complains about this, well i guess you are probably 1 of those guys who spawn rapes in the tank rather than useing its armour to punch a whole through hotel defences so you can capture square and other bases.

If it is the major spawn rush and it's surely to get grabbed either way: I be medic! Spawn, grab humvee and loop back to gatehouse.

It depends. If we have several flags then I go for the tank. If we do not have any flags then I go for hmmv and try and take a flag.
Um, if you take the jeep you're thick. What if you don't see the spec ops that just drove a jeep over, blew up your uav and hopped in the tank right behind you. Then drives it across the map, now you have no armor.

I'd go with the humvee. They're much faster, and I just hate tanks. Apc's all the way. But if I was engineer I would lay a mine under the tank as long as mine FF is off so that an enemy wouldn't be able to steal it.

First I never spawn there unless theres a free armor which is rare. Id take the tank.

None - I never play Karkand anymore. But when I did play it, I never tried to get them anyway and never once have even been to the Gas Station.

I ask because I've noticed lately (err, since 1.3), that most people go for the armor, and never allow others a chance. Heck, even COMMANDERS command from armor (which can be frustrating on the 32 or 16 version of Karkand, as there is only one tank per team). The same people constantly take the armor and everyone else is left with the Humvee, or their own two feet. Same with transport vehicles--
Personally, if I spawn at Gas Station / Gate House and see a tank & Humvee / Vodnik, I'm going to choose the transport. It is easier to run n00bs over with and can get you from point A to point B in no time. Plus, there are other folks that may want to use armor. But I've also noticed that when someone takes that Humvee and you ask for a ride, they drive right on as if they didn't hear / see you (and sometimes they don't). I pretty much have to spam "Hey I need a ride!" ten or so times before he even attempts to come back and pick me up.
Does anyone else experience these problems too?
