Hello All,
  I want to preface that i am new to the forums here but am looking for some advice/tips. I have just started getting into BF2 and am really liking the game play. I am not in a clan or anything like that but a bunch of us guys in our late 30's try to play a few times a week.

The issue and question i have is, what is up with team killers? I have recently come across this issue the past week and i just dont understand why they do it and why they dont get kicked. This isnt the incidental kill in a fire fight, this is blatant killing of your own team , over and over and over.

I was in an hour long battle as commander and it was a close game, then about 30 points to go, all of a sudden this team killer showed up and kept killing me. Needless to say i got very irate and typed a message full of expletives and then I got kicked. It just ruined my night.

Can anyone shed any light on how we can prevent this issue in the future? should punk buster automatically be kicking , well, these punks!!!?!??!

Some people are just retarded. Play on servers that auto-kick for negative score or that have TK punish enabled. PunkBuster DOES kick them, but only if the server has that enabled.

They do, but PB aren't going to be able to recognize whether a TK was intenional or not.

It still sux big time though.
Same thing happened to me once and ruined a good run.
It ended up that I had to hide more of him than of the enemy.

If he didnt like my command, why didn´t he cast a vote?

Try different servers until you find one with good admins. I would suggest trying ours, as 99% of the time there will be multiple admins about to get rid of disruptive players, but it's based in Europe so your ping would most likely suck.

Welcome to BF2! Let me be the first to burst your bubble by saying this game can sometimes feel like it's overrun with 13 year-olds who dont know any better and either tk for laughs or do other, stupid stuff like spawn raping mains (which i disagree with personally, but others may not), or spend half their round typing in the chat box how "1337" they are, yet end up losing the round cause they did nothing. My advice, as anothers was, is to find good servers where admins are usually on, and their rules agree with you, and are enforced.... otherwise, have fun playing with the kids and the retards that have helped ruin some of this great game for me.

even worse are those who delibrately force u to tk them. i.e those who run in front of tanks and sleep on runways. gah.

Yeah, that's the really sucky bit: getting autokicked for swearing, while the consistent TK asswipe is still there. You'll come across them in a whole bunch of servers every now and then.

Mostly you'll hear to just move to a different server if it looks like the one you're in doesn't kick for a score below -8, -10, or whatever.
