i spend all round in a chopper getting raped by jets on wake and i still cant get the basic helicopter badge. does any1 have and advice on the best way to get this badge and what map is best to get it on?

Basic helicopter is just time oriented.  Join an underpopulated wake island server and just ply the blackhawk around at 500 ft.

Just ride around as a gunner in a attack chopper.  You can get your transport badge at the same time as your heli or avatar badge.
