If you're like me, then you played a lot of bf1942. I was just wondering about the possiblilty of an all-armor map, such as aberdeen on bf1942. I love to tank, but i never get the same satisfaction killing infantry as i do when i kill other armored vehicles. I would love to see a map with only armor on it (and maybe a few apcs) and let the tank marksmen duke it out. all the armor whores out there would finally get to see who is the best tanker (thats the beauty of bf2, no matter what aspect of war you want to contest, you can cover it in this game). what are your feelings on the subject?

Oh so he did mean Euro Force...I thought the battles with armor were better in Armored Fury.
No i mean an all armor map, no jets, helis or anything else whatsoever. Just pure unadultered armor action.
Yeah Armored Fury would be your cup of tea. Watch out for the plane whores though. Thats absolutely as good as your gonna get for now.

IMO Armor Battles are way better in EF than in AF.
I've seen rounds at Op. Smoke Screen where the EU had like 10 Challengers...It's awesome

Operation harvest is my fav map. It is the best armor whore map. Only 1 attack heli to worry about.
when i say all armor, i mean it. like, no other vehicles on the map besides tanks besides jeeps. no more worrying about crossing an open field because of getting bombed. THINK ABERDEEN PEOPLE!!! Am I so old that Iam the only one who played bf1942. Aberdeen was a sick map because everyone got a tank. I know EA didnt intend bf2 to be a tank sim, but they should let it be. Bf2 could be the basis for like at least 6 different sims. anyways, what do you think?
Haha yeah. I played a round of single player to see what the bots would do and I ended up not playing at all just watching the complete stalemate armor battle at the last MEC flag.MDW wrote:

I think its a cool idea, a map like el Alamein from bf1942. A big desert with nothing but like 40 tanks on a 64 player map. Would be awesome!
