Ok well i searched for this but i didnt find anything but will this site track the special forces. Ill have it pretty soon and id like to see how much i suck at the expansion.

I'm sure it's been said *somewhere*... though prolly most of the search results for "Special Forces" is discussion all over the map...
...but I don't think I'm speaking out of turn when I say: yes, Chuy will be tracking any new stats which EA publishes. Beyond that, EA has to make the first step (by publishing Special Forces stats).

as far as I know, chuy has made a statement along the lines that the expansion will use the account you already have for BF2.
And if I interpret chuy's approach to this site correctly, I am certain the stats from SF will be implemented here, if EA records any

Hmmm i have a feeling EA is going to screw us over hard like adding Special forces points for unlocks in this game....thatd make me angry cause im saving an unlock just for this game.
now that I think about it, unlocks could be tricky. It is already well established that the expansion will feature new weapons. Now, will those be additional or will SF not feature the original BF2 weapons ?

You can pay for it, you can download it, but you can't install it until release (I think the 22nd).

CS is probably more finely tuned ( as far as damage models and hitboxes are concerned ), but there are not so many similarities between the two games, I believe. Different physics, different engines, totally different concepts ( respawning, not round-based, healing ). SF might be closer to CS, but it still will be BF2-like playing, I suppose.
btw, looks like we have different release dates for the continents:
USA: 22.11.
Europe: 24.11.
Australia: 28.11.
