Hi all,

I just read the Aviators Guide on this website under the Wiki tab, and I tried to configure my Jostick the same as said in the guide, I own a Microsoft Sidewinder 2.

I did configure my joystick the same as in the guide, but when I try to fly in the game, the jet starts acting really crazy. When I hop in the plane, the hover mode starts working immidiatly, and the controls are totally weird, they're inverted I think, but I followed all the instructions in the guide.

Can anybody help me with this nasty problem?

Maybe i can help you, i have the same joystick (i think). when you hop in make sure that the trottle is set somewhere in the middle, because somewhere in the back means "reverse". Also when you bind your joystick in the game you need to turn the joystick right under rudder right becasue it if you turn left it wull be inverted. Same goes for the other axis. in an empty map figure out what controls are are inverted, clear them with esc first and then reassign them. Also try installing the software that came with it to calibrate it.
